Knight Journalism fellows announced

I am so happy to share with you such great news: I will be part of 2010-11 group of the Knight Fellowship for Professional Journalists at Stanford with a research focus on stimulating the emergence of next-generation European news entrepreneurs.

The group is an outstanding one and research plans look amazing. Just take Evelyn Larrubia’s study on nonprofit journalism ventures (a great subject after Pro Publica’s Pulitzer and OWNI project to get inspiration from it) or Karelia Vázquez’s objective to create an eco-system that connects debating forums about Cuba in transition.

I would like to thank here all the people who inspired and supported me to present this application: without their help and ideas I wouldn’t be in that list.

Thank you also to Jim Bettinger and Dawn Garcia. I am looking forward to collaborate with them and their staff in September.
