OWNI is SXSW Accelerator finalist
Can’t wait to share this news. After being granted the best non-English small website award from the Online News Association in November, OWNI will be among the finalists at the SXSW Accelerator in Austin this year. And I will pitch.
OWNI is your gateway to media innovation. Based in Paris, OWNI both cover and monetize innovation with a social media featuring the best ideas on the digital age and with our webagency designing beautiful Wordpress sites and datavis.
South by SouthWest (or SXSW) is a music, movies and media festival organized in Austin since 25 years that has become the main appointment for every innovator.
Competing with more than 400 applicants, OWNI is the only non-US startup to be among the finalists this year. Très bien messieurs !

Although we did not win, I had a good time with pitching OWNI at SXSW Microsoft Bizspark 2011. Congrats to Storify who won, instead. Good job, Xavier and Burt!
